Can progress create meaningful opportunity?
A leap forward in science is a chance to do more than a fundraising campaign, it’s a chance to redefine the entire organisation around a singular purpose – the gains would be exponential.
The Scar Free Foundation is born
Working with leaders and teams, The Healing Foundation was reborn as The Scar Free Foundation. Now it had stand-out authority and a lasting mission to match: to make the world scar free by 2050. It had an ambition with the power to turn the heads of the world’s most influential business people and wealthiest philanthropists. And to unite scientists and patients behind a common future.
We have the opportunity to liberate every future generation from the traumatising and debilitating impact of disfigurement.
Behind every scar there is a story
Alongside its mission, its identity is rebuilt around the simple truth that ‘behind every scar is a story’. To deliver this, we pull together a team of outstanding creative talent, including renowned photographer Spencer Murphy and Making Pictures, actor Tom Hollander and the Sky production studio.
£1 million donation and counting
Working with leaders and teams, we transform The Scar Free Foundation and help to create a brave vision of the future. Business leaders and notable figures, including HRH The Countess of Wessex, fully embrace the new direction, backing it all the way to 2050. The Scar Free Foundation receive a donation of £1m from the VCTC Foundation shortly after launch.
